IAB Afterwork 5@7: Sovereignty of tech and tools in Europe and Belgium
19 mai, 17:00 pm - 19:00 pm
As Europe accelerates its digital transformation, questions around technological sovereignty are becoming impossible to ignore. Who controls the tools we rely on? Where is our data stored and under whose rules?
In this session, IAB Belgium, powered by BAM, invites you to explore the growing tension between global tech dominance and the rise of local European alternatives. From platforms and data infrastructure to marketing tools and innovation ecosystems, we’ll compare global versus local approaches and examine what it means for businesses operating in Belgium and beyond.
The format will bring together diverse perspectives: three keynote speakers will set the stage with a European and global outlook, while a panel of 6 à 8 industry experts will dive into the Belgian and local reality. Representatives from leading organizations such as DPG, Adastone, Azerion and others will share their insights, experiences and opinions.
Join us for a forward-looking conversation on how organizations can strike the right balance between efficiency, independence and trust in an increasingly complex digital landscape.
