Belgian Corp Comm Summit
2 décembre, 17:30 pm - 22:00 pm
Are communicators still indispensable, and what for?
In a world where AI writes, leaders communicate directly with stakeholders, journalists increasingly bypass corporate spokespersons, and silence is often interpreted as a position, the role of corporate communicators is being fundamentally redefined.
The Belgian Corp Comm Summit 2026 will bring together corporate communication professionals from across Belgium to explore a timely and provocative question: Are communicators still indispensable, and what for?
Join us for an inspiring evening of reflection, debate and networking as we challenge assumptions about the future of our profession and examine where communicators create the most value in an increasingly automated and disintermediated world.
What to expect?
This Summit is designed as a high-level conversation on leadership, trust, influence and judgement, rather than a technical conference focused on communication tools.
As organizations navigate increasing complexity, polarization, AI disruption and unprecedented scrutiny, communication has become a strategic leadership function. Throughout the evening, we will explore how communication can help executive teams protect credibility, build trust, and make better decisions about when to speak, how to speak, and when silence itself becomes a risk.
Keynote speaker: Hans De Cuyper, CEO of Ageas and Trends Manager of the Year.
He will be followed by an engaging discussion featuring leading voices from our sector, moderated by Isabel Albers (Editor-in-Chief of De Tijd / L’Echo), Xavier Counasse (Editor-in-Chief of Le Soir), Anne-Sophie Hugé (Head of External Communication, Sponsoring & Partnerships at ENGIE), Nico Cardone (Senior Media Relations Manager at Brussels Airlines), Gwendoline Ornigg (VP Global Communications at UCB) and Xavier Degraux (LinkedIn Consultant and Trainer).
A thought-provoking evening for communication leaders and professionals who want to understand how their role is evolving and where they can create the greatest value in the years ahead.
